SDC Trivia: Cross-Platform Mobile Game with FlutterFlow

Project Overview SDC Trivia is a mobile game designed specifically for Australian seniors (60+) to keep their minds active. The goal was to create a fun, easy-to-navigate app that hosts quizzes on various topics.
The Challenge The main challenge was designing for an older demographic. The UI needed to be highly accessible (high contrast, large typography) and the navigation had to be intuitive without complex gestures. Additionally, the app needed to be lightweight and responsive across various Android devices.
My Solution & Technical Approach I utilized FlutterFlow and Flutter to accelerate development while maintaining code quality.
UI/UX Design: Implemented a clean, minimalist interface to reduce cognitive load. Used large touch targets for better accessibility.
Game Logic: Developed a dynamic scoring system and question randomization engine.
Performance: Optimized asset loading to ensure the app runs smoothly even on older devices.
Deployment: Managed the full release cycle to the Google Play Store.
