Bellissi, a former paramedic, knew there was more to life than working yourself to the bone to gain the opportunity of finding fulfilment when retirement finally emerges. He stopped chasing the societal idea of success and broke the mould to shape a new one; and in doing so pursued his ultimate dream of becoming a music producer.

This storytelling genius has always been drawn to his creative side, from writing novels and screenplays to capturing moments as photographer. He knew from the very beginning, this side needed unleashing. And that’s when he found music, an outlet that allowed him to... in his words, ‘put music to my dreams’.

Bellissi is an independent artist with an array of songs that each tells a unique story with unimagined depth.

But what does it mean to be an independent artist? Picture this...

You’ve written a song you’re pretty proud of. Now it’s time to record it in a specially designed recording studio with an experienced sound engineer, manipulating and adjusting the acoustics. A mixing engineer will then combine the sonic elements of the track and create a chart worthy single, before its mastered by another specialist to heighten its impact and ensure it translates well to all playback systems. Then a music PR will promote your creation and generate media attention.

But now picture one person doing all of the above, from writing, to recording to producing and promoting the track. That’s what it means to be an independent artist and when you hear one of Bellissi’s incredibly crafted tracks, this is the graft that goes into producing such creations. Although it doesn’t feel like hard work to this artist as he’s created a life in which each day is a dream.

Working for the man no longer, Bellissi is creating the next chapter of his inspirational story as an independent music producer. He has two EP’s coming soon with the first single ‘The Fool’ going live on 10th March.
