Apparently Pant’s automobile caught fire, but he managed to escape, despite suffering injuries to his head, back, and feet, according to eyewitnesses.
According to several early news accounts, Pant was then hospitalised to Saksham Facility near Delhi, though it’s possible that they later moved him to a Dehradun hospital. His condition is still steady.
The director of India’s National Cricket Academy, VVS Laxman, claimed on Twitter that Pant is “out of danger” despite not yet knowing the full extent of his injuries. Pant was scheduled to visit this academy in early January.

Dainik Jagran said that Pant was originally treated at the Saksham Facility close to the Delhi-Dehradun motorway before being transferred to another Dehradun hospital.
“When the car struck the divider on the Delhi-Narson border, he was operating the wheel. He was brought right away to Saksham Hospital but will be transferred to Max Hospital for additional care, “said a source to PTI”.
