World Traveler - Portfolio Storytelling & Interactive Demo
An existing educational project, presented through a portfolio case study, visual storytelling, video, and an interactive Framer component.
World Traveler was conceived and designed by Maryia Malukha. My work focused on presenting her project and creating a digital demonstration for her portfolio website. The original learning materials and their visual design remained unchanged.
Making the project understandable
The project had a physical format: passports, boarding passes, attraction tickets, and stamps. A visitor encountering it online needed to understand how these pieces connected and what happened throughout the journey.
I structured and wrote the portfolio case study, created its presentation images, and produced a video presentation. Together, these materials explain the project’s idea, introduce its artifacts, and guide the viewer through the experience.
Giving visitors a route to follow
I also developed a custom React component for Maryia’s Framer website, translating the project’s mechanics into a short interactive demonstration.
Visitors can open the passport, complete a traveler identity, pull a boarding pass from its pocket, decode a destination, explore a city ticket, write a journal entry, and reach the final stamp.
The sequence gives portfolio visitors a way to experience the relationship between the materials and the actions they support.
The delivered work
The final presentation combines a written case study, visual assets, a video, and an interactive website component. Visitors can read the story, watch the presentation, and try the demonstration themselves.
