My Role / Contribution I conceptualized and created this fictional company as part of a comprehensive design project. Despite initially having limited knowledge of cybersecurity, I undertook extensive research to understand the field and its intricacies, focusing on user requirements and backend functionality. Over the course of a month, I meticulously developed the entire project from scratch. My contributions encompassed a wide array of responsibilities, including thorough market research, creating detailed user personas, designing the brand identity, and developing the user interface. Utilizing Adobe XD, I crafted wireframes, high-fidelity prototypes, and conducted usability testing to ensure a seamless user experience. My role also extended to formulating case studies to highlight the problem-solving approach and effectiveness of the design solutions.

Their services include cybersecurity assessments, PCI compliance, multi-factor authentication, WatchGuard solutions, threat detection and incident response, and HIPAA compliance services. Cloud Guardian’s mission is to safeguard businesses against cyber threats by offering tailored, robust security solutions.

History Founded in 1995, Cloud Guardian was established with the mission to protect businesses from hackers and potential data breaches. The inspiration for the company came after its founder, Mike Kowalski, experienced a personal cyberattack that compromised his credentials. Determined to prevent such incidents from happening to others, Mike assembled a team of experts to create a company dedicated to providing top-notch cybersecurity services. Over the years, Cloud Guardian has grown into a trusted name in the industry, known for its innovative solutions and commitment to protecting its clients.

The Challenge Cloud Guardian faced the challenge of designing a new website that would instill trust in visitors and effectively communicate their expertise in cybersecurity. The goal was to create a website with a modern, professional aesthetic that would not only attract new clients but also convey the company’s reliability and technical proficiency. The redesign needed to focus on user experience, ensuring that potential clients could easily navigate the site, understand the services offered, and feel confident in Cloud Guardian’s ability to protect their business from cyber threats.
