SEO link building Campaign for Ploom (when the product was launched in Romania):

The primary goal of this campaign was to enhance the website’s organic visibility and authority by acquiring high-quality backlinks from authoritative websites. The focus was on building natural, relevant, and contextual links to drive both SEO value and referral traffic. The authoritative websites were selected from WhitePress, which is a platform that serves as an intermediary that connects brands with a vast network of high-authority online publications. It allowed me to target the specific industry, and content categories to ensure that the backlinks are relevant to the niche.

I’ve worked with content writers to develop SEO-optimized articles that seamlessly incorporate backlinks to the client’s site. Approximately 60-80 articles were published per month in the first 3 to 4 months. Afterwards, a number of 30-40 articles were published constantly, every month. The topics were about: how to integrate alternative smoking in your lifestyle, the benefits of alternative smoking etc.

WhitePress allowed me to choose publishers with strong reputations, high traffic, and relevant content categories, ensuring the links were placed on sites with real authority. Once published, the SEO specialist and I monitored the articles for indexing by search engines and ensured that the backlinks remained live and followed.

The campaign contributed to a steady increase in the client’s domain authority due to the high-quality backlinks from credible publications.

Over time, the result was a significant improvement in the rankings of targeted keywords, particularly for terms related to the articles' content and anchor texts used. The campaign also generated referral traffic from the published articles, further enhancing brand exposure and driving potential conversions.
