West Mall, located in a prime urban area, spans over 500,000 square feet and offers a diverse mix of brands, popular retailers, and electronics stores. The mall features a spacious food court, trendy cafes, a modern cinema complex, and a family-friendly entertainment zone. Committed to sustainability, West Mall incorporates green building practices and offers amenities like free Wi-Fi, family facilities, and accessibility features. Regular events and promotions enhance the shopping experience, making West Mall a vibrant community hub.

Challenge

The primary challenge was creating a logo and visual identity that effectively communicated the essence of West Mall to an incredibly diverse target audience. The identity needed to be modern, professional, and versatile while reflecting the welcoming, inclusive, and forward-thinking nature of the mall. Additionally, the design had to maintain flexibility and recognizability across various media platforms and applications.

Concept & Mood

The goal was to establish a clean, modern, and efficient visual identity that would serve as a unified visual communication system for the shopping center. The mood had to embody the urban sophistication of the mall while staying approachable and appealing to its broad audience.

Outcome

The logo design builds on the typography by merging the letters “W” and “M” into a sleek, abstract shape that symbolizes connection and direction. Drawing inspiration from an arrow pointing west, the logo conveys movement, growth, and accessibility while retaining a minimal and refined aesthetic.
This minimalist design approach makes the logo versatile and effective across various formats and sizes, ensuring strong visual impact whether on signage, print collateral, or digital platforms.
The wider visual identity incorporates this same simplicity through a modern typeface, complementary color schemes, and photography that captures the energy and diversity of the mall's visitors. The copywriting was tailored to speak to a wide audience, creating messaging that reinforced West Mall’s role as a destination where every lifestyle converges.
