Overview

I redesigned and rebuilt KT Technical Solutions’ website using Webflow, with a strong focus on content simplification and strategic navigation.
KTTS is a manufacturer's representative firm, connecting top-tier manufacturers to OEMs and EMS providers across North America and Europe. The new website needed to modernize the brand’s digital presence, improve readability, and help users quickly find relevant suppliers and product categories.

Context

When KTTS reached out, their website was visually outdated and overloaded with dense text blocks that made navigation overwhelming. While some content was being manually updated by the team, the visual design still felt like a legacy site from the early 2000s—cluttered, hard to read, and not aligned with the company’s professionalism.
I presented a quick UX analysis highlighting these friction points and proposed a redesign focused on clarity, modern aesthetics, and a user-centered content experience. And to deliver a more intuitive experience, I created a detailed site map and reorganized the information architecture to reduce cognitive load and improve scanability.

Challenges

One of the biggest challenges was the supplier section: KTTS represents dozens of suppliers, and their previous site simply listed them with minimal information. I helped them reimagine this section with a CMS-powered system that includes:
• A dedicated page for each supplier with rich content about their materials • Smart filters that let users browse suppliers by material type • A shortcut on the homepage with a material-based entry point, allowing users to jump directly to the type of material they’re looking for
This solution was key to shifting the team’s mindset toward a more strategic, user-first approach, understanding that visitors often arrive with a clear list of materials in mind and need an efficient way to find what they’re looking for.
