Graypower- Visual Identity Design

Graypower is a startup energy tech company that offers technological solutions to domestic users. Founded by two IT specialists passionate about the future of sustainable energy and technology. They approached me to develop a visual identity for them that would help them penetrate the market in a professional way.

My role was to craft a logo and that would make them stand out among their competitors along with visual elements that would establish a strong and recognizable brand.

It was important to craft a visual identity that reflects innovation, a feel of minimalism and more than anything functional across all touch points.

The logo mark was meticulously crafted in a way that would portray what the brand is about in an appealing way. From sketching the lighting bolt that symbolises energy and strategically positioning it in a shape that forms a power button, the logomark effectively reinforces the personality of the brand.

The range of colours in this palette was meticulously designed to give the brand an innovative look and modern feel. The primary color being electric blue, it evokes trust and portrays competence pairing well with the black that gives the brand a bold sophisticated look. The aim was to give the brand a clean look and feel compared to its competitors.that use bold and bright colors.

Azonix is a modern sans-serif typeface and I chose this specific typeface for the wordmark for its geometric nature. Further customised the font to make it unique to the brand.
