Kinship - Social Community App for Moms

Kinship is a warm and community driven social app built for iOS and Android that connects moms and moms-to-be with other mothers in their local area. The idea behind Kinship is beautifully simple. Motherhood is one of the most rewarding but also one of the most challenging journeys a woman can go through, and no mom should have to go through it alone. The app creates a safe, supportive, and friendly space where mothers can find each other, share their experiences, ask for advice, and build genuine friendships with people who truly understand what they are going through.

The app makes it very easy for moms to connect locally. Users can create a profile, discover other moms nearby, join conversations, share their parenting journey, and build a real support network right in their own neighbourhood. Whether someone is a first time mom looking for guidance, an experienced mother wanting to share her knowledge, or a mom to be preparing for a new chapter, Kinship welcomes everyone with warmth and understanding. The platform is designed to feel personal, safe, and encouraging at every step.

We delivered the complete end to end solution for Elaine Joseph, CEO, based in the United States. This includes UI/UX design in Figma, native iOS app in Swift, native Android app in Kotlin with Jetpack Compose, a full Node.js and Express backend, a web app built with HTML5, Bootstrap, and EJS, MongoDB database, and a complete admin panel. The entire platform is hosted on AWS with GoDaddy and Apache for reliable performance.
