InterviewFocus — AI-Powered Interview Prep Platform

Designing a full landing page and dashboard experience for a SaaS platform that helps candidates practice job interviews using conversational AI.
Overview
Designed the complete landing page and user dashboard for InterviewFocus, an AI-powered platform that helps job seekers practice interviews with conversational AI. The goal was to clearly communicate the product value, build trust fast, and guide visitors toward signing up.
The Problem
Job seekers had no realistic and adaptive way to practice interviews before the real thing. Existing tools had three major gaps:
No tool adapted to candidate answers in real time. Questions were always fixed and scripted.
There was no feedback system to measure delivery, confidence, or answer quality.
Candidates had no way to track their progress over time, making it hard to stay motivated.

The Solution
The design focused on two things: a conversion-focused landing page and a data-rich user dashboard.
The hero section leads with a sharp headline, "Develop Job-Ready Talent with AI-Powered Interview Prep," and immediately shows social proof with 1000+ trusted users.
A dedicated feature section explains how the conversational AI listens and adapts like a real interviewer, directly addressing the biggest user doubt.
The dashboard gives users a clear view of their total interviews, average score, practice time, streak, and skill scores across communication, problem solving, and confidence.
Three quick action cards reduce friction for new users: Create Custom Interview, Analyze Your Resume, and Book a Coaching Session.

Key Design Decisions
Teal and dark navy were chosen as the primary colors. Teal signals clarity and trust. Dark navy creates a premium, professional feel without looking cold.
The product dashboard was placed below the fold on the landing page so visitors could see the actual product before scrolling, which reduces drop-off.
Two CTAs were used side by side: "Request a Demo" for decision-ready visitors and "Watch How It Works" for explorers. Both serve different user mindsets without competing visually.
Stat cards showing real numbers like 38 sessions and a 4.7 average score made the platform feel lived-in and trustworthy, not just a marketing design.
