As Brand Manager at FairMoney, I played a pivotal role in shaping the company’s identity and ensuring consistent messaging across all touchpoints. Beyond content creation, I oversaw the strategic planning and execution of campaigns, ensuring they aligned with the brand’s goals and resonated with our target audience. My efforts were instrumental in driving growth and engagement, solidifying FairMoney’s position as a leading Neobank. From crafting creative narratives to managing the brand’s overall image, I ensured every piece of communication reflected FairMoney’s mission to empower and serve its customers. One such project I handled was the launch of FairMoney's savings products—FairLock FairLock is a fixed savings product by FairMoney, designed to help users securely grow their savings while earning competitive interest rates. With FairLock, users can lock away a specific amount of money for a predefined period, ranging from a few months to a year, encouraging disciplined saving habits. The product offers attractive interest rates, which increase with the duration of the lock-in period, ensuring users maximize their returns.
The objectives at launch:
Create awareness for the new savings product
Garner users for FairLock from existing customers and new customers
Hit a million dollars in savings deposit in the first 3 months
Growth of all other savings products 100%
Key Wins Grew FairLock's deposit from 0 to $1M in 3 month
Worked closely with the product manager to implement marketing strategies that have resulted in 100% yearly growth of FairMoney’s savings product, especially FairLock FairMoney ranked 12th on the Financial Times list of 100 fastest-growing companies in Africa
