In the Adverity project, I spearheaded the creation of a sophisticated marketing API pipeline, meticulously integrating data from major advertising platforms such as Google Ads, Bing Ads, Facebook Ads, TikTok, and Baidu. Adverity emerged as the tool of choice for its versatile capabilities in defining and extracting specific metrics. The pipelines were meticulously designed to accommodate both hourly and daily data updates.
For seamless integration, API connections were established, and stringent authorization processes were implemented to ensure data security. The destination table for the ingested data was strategically set up in Google BigQuery, leveraging its scalability and analytical capabilities. As part of the data processing workflow, I defined and executed intricate manipulations, which included currency conversions to standardize financial metrics across diverse platforms.
To enhance the analytical depth of the dataset, I systematically added new columns, providing enriched insights for downstream analysis. This comprehensive approach aimed not only at automating the data ingestion process but also at creating a flexible and scalable solution capable of handling diverse marketing data sources. The end result was an optimized and automated system that empowered marketing teams with timely, accurate, and enriched data for strategic decision-making.
