Landing Page for Film Making Cohort

This was done as a part of product design assignment. The assignment brief was to design a landing page for a educational startup which helps people onboard in the film making and art of cinema using top talent from the industry via online platform.

To design, I started with understanding the filmmaking industry. Film-Making being a very creative industry, the startup positions itself as culmination of practical film making practice with guidance from the top experts from film fraternity.

Based on the brief, I shortlisted few of the concepts which startup wanted to optimise on and wanted to reflect in the landing page to the target audience.

A place to understand the cinema in the most practical form with guidance from the top experts across the domain.

A 3-6 months long curriculum which is not just limited to theories and passive learning but with putting those techniques into action and create a piece of cinema.

Film making is a broader domain and involves various skills from Video Editing, Script Writing and more, the course provides mentoring on those lines and get's the best out of the cohort participants.

Practical assignments to nurture the skills and enabling participants to create the first short film.

Film making being the creative field, I wanted to keep the overall theme of landing page fun and at the same time wanted to give it vibe of old Micky Mouse style black and white time. I used Midjourney to create image assets for the part of visual storytelling of landing page.

The intent behind this was to let visitor know about the cohort and help them understand about the film making with cohort offering and expose them to creative storytelling format.
