Our challenges

Marinade stands out in the world of DeFi. While most apps overwhelm users with complex dashboards, charts, and endless numbers, Marinade takes a refreshingly different approach with its simplicity. Originally designed as a mobile-first app, I aimed to enhance this streamlined experience even further.

My goal was to make the app accessible to newcomers while still catering to the many advanced users among Marinade's user base. Striking this balance was crucial.



















What was achieved

• Consistency When I first joined the Marinade team, we were in the midst of a design revolution. Back then, parts of the app felt like they spoke different languages. Now? It's like a beautifully orchestrated symphony where every element plays its part perfectly. The whole app now looks and feels like one cohesive experience.
• New Features Every new feature was like solving a fun puzzle. We crafted a rewards system that can handle whatever users throw at it, whipped up a network monitoring dashboard that's surprisingly simple (despite its complex guts), and kept fine-tuning our star player — the staking feature — based on real user data. The result? Happy users and a healthier bottom line!
• Design Cookbook To keep our design delicious and consistent, we cooked up a set of go-to recipes (aka design principles). Now, even when new chefs join our kitchen, they can whip up interfaces that look and feel unmistakably 'Marinade'.
