Overview

Welltory is a data-driven health app. The goal of this onboarding was to show users — in 26 screens — exactly how their data turns into actionable insights about load, recovery, and how they feel. Instead of standard UI transitions, we crafted a metaphorical visual narrative. This continuous flow kept users hooked through a funnel, driving engagement and creating strong FOMO ahead of the purchase decision.

The Challenge

Mobile onboarding funnels typically suffer from high drop-off rates. The common use of static UI or heavy video files fails to keep users engaged through a long setup process. The challenge was to create fluid Rive animations that tell complete story across 26 sequential screens.

The Impact

The resulting onboarding funnel achieved a spectacular metric: practically zero drop-offs across the animated screens. The smooth, lightweight motion design kept users engaged and motivated to complete the lengthy setup process, proving that great Rive animations directly impact business metrics and user retention.
