PhysioThera is a Montreal-based company offering in-home physiotherapy services dedicated to the elderly. The main challenge was to design a logo that would inspire trust and professionalism, while reflecting the values of humanity and caring at the heart of their mission. The design had to effectively communicate the nature of home care, resonate with a senior clientele and their families, while respecting the etymological origin of the name, which has its roots in ancient Greek.

The conceptual starting point lies in the etymology of the name “PhysioThera”, which has its roots in ancient Greek. “Physio” refers to the nature of the human being, while ‘Thera’ evokes medical care. This duality between the human and the professional forms the basis of the creative concept.

The typographic approach began with the selection of a serif font as a base, then its gradual transformation:

- Removal of serifs to improve legibility - Softening angles by introducing subtle curves - Adding roundness to the ends of letters

These modifications resulted in a typography that is:

- Simple and highly readable for senior customers - Modern without appearing too clinical - Gentle and welcoming, in keeping with the company's human approach

The icon accompanying the logotype combines several symbolic elements:

- Use of the initials P and T as the basic structure - Transformation of the horizontal bar of the T into a curve evoking the concept of movement of the spine, a central element in physiotherapy - Integration of the whole into the silhouette of a house, a direct visual representation of home care
