Type: Concept / spec project (not a client engagement)
Role: UI/UX Designer, Web Designer
Inspiration: Tanini Home (taninihome.com)
Tools: Figma
What This Is
HomeTaniq is a concept home and lifestyle e-commerce brand. I designed the full website experience to explore how premium furniture brands can balance visual sophistication with conversion-focused UX. The design language is inspired by Tanini Home's approach to warmth and craftsmanship.
What I Did
Studied the reference brand — analyzed Tanini Home's visual language, product presentation, and navigation patterns to understand what makes premium furniture e-commerce feel trustworthy
Defined the brand concept — HomeTaniq blends contemporary design with artisanal craftsmanship, targeting design-conscious consumers who value authenticity and sustainability
Designed the full website — homepage, product discovery, category pages, and product detail views with a focus on visual storytelling and clean navigation
Built a visual direction — photography-forward layouts, minimalist typography, warm color palette, and generous whitespace to let the products speak
Key Design Decisions
Photography-first layout — premium furniture sells through imagery, not feature lists
Minimal navigation — reduced cognitive load so visitors focus on browsing, not figuring out the site
Warm, neutral palette — reflects the brand's emphasis on natural materials and craftsmanship
Why This Matters
This project demonstrates e-commerce design thinking for premium brands: how to translate a physical product's quality into a digital experience that builds trust and drives purchases.
