TaskFlow is a concept task management system designed for individuals, freelancers, and small teams. I built this to explore how productivity tools can balance power with simplicity.
What I Did
Defined the feature set — task creation and assignment, priority levels (low/medium/high/urgent), custom labels and tags, recurring tasks, task dependencies, and multiple views (list and calendar)
Designed the full dashboard — task overview, calendar view, team collaboration features, file sharing, notifications, and performance analytics
Built for multiple user types — individuals, freelancers, small teams, and businesses
Created a clean component system — consistent card layouts, clear status indicators, and intuitive navigation across all views
Key Design Decisions
Multiple view options — list view for quick scanning, calendar view for deadline-oriented planning
Priority-first visual hierarchy — urgent and high-priority tasks are visually distinct so nothing critical gets buried
Performance analytics built in — not just task tracking, but productivity insights to identify bottlenecks
Why This Matters
This project demonstrates productivity SaaS design: how to build a task management interface that's powerful enough for teams but simple enough for solo users.
