THE CHALLENGE Ministry of Agriculture wanted a mascot that can represent the ministry to all agricultural businesses in Malaysia. THE IDEA One of the ways to represent a friendly and yet very resourceful mascot was to create a person who people can identify with easily in the ministry. I decided to model the character in 3D to look similar to the Manager who was in charge of this project and he was the middle man between the ministry and agriculture businesses. I used 3D for the base and added touch-ups overall to finish the character. THE RESULT Well received by the ministry and I proceeded to add this mascot on flyers, leaflets and even roadshow events.
