FASHION FILM FESTIVAL

Poster

I was commissioned to create a poster and a brochure for a Fashion Film Festival in Florence, Italy, 2023.

The goal was to create a captivating image that also took the 9 film features into account with their different forms of style and visual languages. Therefore I decided to create an abstract motif that captures attention while staying relevant for its purpose and theme.

My responsibilities included:

Graphic Design

Typography

Managing Printing

Creating an object that aligned with the client, the filmmakers, as well as the festival.

With my educational background in art and fashion, I have a deep understanding of the width of the art form that fashion film can be which I was able to apply in my research.

The poster succeeded in its versatility by taking all filmmakers into account while also producing an artistic and unique image that was coherent. Also while being an infographic. It reminded some people of a camera lens and found its mysterious abstraction intriguing.
