Custom Prescription Generation using ChatGPT

I designed and implemented a custom ChatGPT-powered medical chatbot tailored to support healthcare providers in diagnosing conditions and prescribing medications. This system leverages artificial intelligence to analyze patient symptoms and provide accurate drug recommendations with the correct dosages. To achieve this, I integrated CSV datasets containing extensive symptom data, mapped to specific medications and dosage information, enabling the chatbot to deliver highly precise, context-based treatment advice.

The workflow begins with a Google Sheets interface, where healthcare professionals can input detailed patient information, including symptoms, medical history, and other relevant clinical data. I integrated this sheet with a button that activates a webhook, which in turn triggers a sophisticated Make.com automation. This automation seamlessly connects to the chatbot and runs a scenario to process the provided information.

Once the webhook is activated, the system conducts the following steps:

The chatbot processes the symptoms and cross-references them with the pre-fed symptom-to-medication mapping in the CSV files.

It identifies the appropriate drug along with its optimal dosage based on the patient's specific symptoms.

A customized prescription document is automatically generated, detailing the recommended medication, dosage, and additional instructions.

This solution significantly enhances the efficiency of the prescription process, reducing manual intervention and human error. The automation is scalable, allowing for easy updates to the medication database, and can be adapted to other healthcare scenarios as needed. By merging AI-driven analysis with real-time workflow automation, this system empowers healthcare providers with accurate, timely, and reliable tools for patient care.
