Lead Designer — Memri Connect (Regenerative AI)

What is Memri Connect? Memri Connect is a smart technology that helps you take control of your data and make smarter choices in life. Memri creates artificial intelligence that follows ethical and sustainable practices from its creation to everyday use.

Central Challenge: The main focus was to create a mobile app that smoothly brings together data and relationships. This app uses both individually and collectively trained smart features to customize your experience.

Cross-functional Collaboration: I worked closely with the founder and the team responsible for building the project from the very beginning. This ensured that communication between us was clear and effective. Since the project was new and innovative, good communication was especially important because we were all new to this type of work.

Incremental Approach: Because the task was complicated, we decided to take it one step at a time instead of trying to do everything at once. This made it easier for people to get used to the technology and allowed us to have enough time to test it properly. We divided the project into four different apps: the Connect App, Recorder App, Photos App, and Timeline App.

Pattern Identification:I began the design process by studying how people typically interact with similar products already available. Even though we wanted to introduce new features, understanding these common patterns helped us create a user-friendly experience that aligns with what people are used to. We used the same approach for the other three apps.

Design Principles: As we designed the apps, we made sure to stick to some important principles. These included putting the user at the center of the design, making sure everything looked and worked consistently, making it easy to move around and find things, making sure everything was easy to read, and making it easy to use with touchscreens.
