Tate, the founder of Brighter Work, needed an Intro & Outro music, as well as tree background tracks for her podcast.
The Brighter Work podcast features weekly interviews with team members from influential non-profits and purpose-driven businesses, delving into their career journeys, daily routines, work-life balance, and company culture. It's designed to empower proactive individuals looking to identify their ideal careers and make a positive impact on the world.
In a music workshop, we
#1 looked at what Brighter Work is/will be, what its tonality is, and who Tate is.
#2 we developed a shared language and understanding about music through focused listening to music and simply talking about it
#3 and we defined the goals the music should meet.
Next, I developed with a music concept. A guide throughout the process, which is extremely helpful to objectively decide whether the music is on the right track or not.
With the music concept complete, I went on to produce a first draft of the Brighter Work Main Theme, which I presented to Tate, including the music concept. She actually teared up as she heard it for the first time with no feedback, so we got straight to the next step.
The audio assets (Intro, Outro, and three background tracks) got produced, which all are derivates of the Main Theme.
I also edit and produce each episode of the podcast.
