The podcast has a great track record of being one of the leading German travel podcasts for over seven years. Sebastian, the host of the show, wanted to bump up the quality of the podcast. He also wanted people to listen longer and subscribe more often.

For the weekly podcast, I implemented a new intro section. It now starts with an engaging quote from the episode that is brought to life by sound design, then the intro music follows which I cut down to 15 seconds where it was 30 before. This little switch and an over all more well-mixed sound boosted the retention of people who listened to the full episode by over 10%.

The Daily podcast got close to 300 5-star ratings in the first month. It consists of 5 minute long stories from wild places all around the world. For each new episode I select 3-4 music tracks that highlight the story plus additional sound design here and there.
