Project overview

Problem #1: New CMS solution - website migration mid-project.
Problem/Opportunity #2: The CMS was a custom-built headless solution, I was skeptical at first about the client's experience with this solution but it proved to be more of an opportunity which allowed more custom, flexible content solutions.
Solutions
Basically saving the client's organic traffic in staging, revealing major technical SEO issues in rendering and main menu structure. Luckily we were able to resolve those issues and improve on the existing header menu structure.
2 Custom filter page solutions were created. Typically I'm not a fan of filtered parameter page solutions but the brand was among top players in its market and so I was confident the filter pages were going to get indexed and bring additional, long-tail traffic that's all programmatically managed, based on the inventory system.
Fixing the 80/20 of SEO elements like meta titles, headings, page titles on an individual basis for some of the key categories where we saw possibility to create impact and bring more traffic.
