Problem #1: Tough competition that invests 10,000$+ per month in backlinks. Brands are long standing, market leaders with years of experience in the market.
Problem #2: Brand positioning in the organic search was a bit "all over the place". It had a good product and a good sign-up offer but it had to be more out there for all users to see.
Problem #3: No off-site budget, working with 1 front-end developer. Finding and outsourcing copywriting to freelancers, no in-house.
Opportunity #1: Company had a good product, with good pricing and positively trending brand awareness.
Opportunity #2: Most top-tier brands focused on higher-tier, enterprise clients, there wasn't a market leader in B2C category - exactly what the brand was focusing on.
Solutions
Focusing on 1, best, product offer that is best-value for most users. Unifying its communication throughout the whole user funnel.
Over 15 landing pages were analyzed. Specific design briefs given to product team. We focused on the 80/20 of SEO priorities - meta titles, headings, titles, hero section, transparent pricing and analyzing search intent. We rolled out the changes in just 3 weeks, focusing on reusable design components.
Product-specific keyword search uncovered what new landing pages were needed. These pages now convert 5 figures in new sales each month.
User use-case analysis. Product itself is merely a tool for other tasks that users desire to do. We discovered over 30 product use-cases and decided to double down on 3 most common ones.
