Embarking on a monumental journey, we reimagined the identity of the Pluk de Nacht Film Festival, drawing inspiration from comics, retro-futurism, and the iconic visual style of Saul Bass. This expansive project encompassed a diverse range of elements to breathe new life into the festival's image.

Our creative approach was a fusion of nostalgia, modernity, and artistic excellence. We aimed to create an identity that pays homage to the past while embracing the future. Key elements of our approach included:
Comics & Retro-futurism: We drew from the world of comics to infuse the festival's identity with dynamic storytelling. Retro-futuristic aesthetics added a timeless charm, creating an intriguing blend of old and new.
Saul Bass Inspiration: The legendary Saul Bass served as a muse, guiding our visual choices. His minimalist yet impactful style influenced our design, setting the stage for a cohesive and memorable identity.

The scale of this project demanded meticulous attention to detail across various components, including:
Brand Guidelines: A comprehensive guide ensured consistency in applying the new identity across all touchpoints.
Social Media & Poster Guidelines: These guidelines provided a roadmap for creating captivating social media posts and eye-catching festival posters.
Complex Logotype & Logo-mark System: We crafted a versatile logotype and logo-mark system that seamlessly integrated with the festival's existing recognizable mark, offering adaptability and recognition.
Social Media Campaign: A dynamic campaign featured 12 different formats for Google Ads, Instagram, and Facebook, engaging a broad online audience.
Interactive Visuals: We designed captivating visuals for on-site projection, including 4 videos and UI guidelines for video streaming.
Merchandise: Our creative touch extended to 5 unique t-shirt designs, along with banners, flags, and on-site screen systems for the bar and announcements.
