The Ghostbusters content required extensive post-production camera tracking for 3D object compositing and detailed rotoscoping for foreground elements. The proton beams were created using custom 3D particle emitters, while the light reflections on the subjects’ faces were generated with animated masks to enhance realism.

For the In The Courts show logo, I designed the original logo in Illustrator and then used Element 3D to extrude the vector shapes, creating the rotating coin effect. Incorporating colored lighting and high-resolution metallic textures significantly enhanced its realism.

This example comes from a passion project outside of my work with Fox Television, but I included it in this collection because of its unique blend of 3D and live-action footage, along with the cartooning effects used to create a cohesive visual style. The short film is titled Bellator: A Southeast Story and was awarded "Best Animation" at the 2023 Southern California Film Festival.

Compositing the birds and the logo was fairly straightforward, but achieving the reflection of the banners in the glass of the photo was a true exercise in patience and attention to detail.

I designed the Fox 5 money for this particular shot. The only real bills are the ones coming directly from the subject’s hand, with the rest of the money composited behind his rotoscoped image.
