All of these stories were shot and edited by me, with the first three receiving Emmy nominations.
The first two and the final story are nat-sound packages, where I weave together the interview subject’s sound bites to tell the full narrative. This storytelling approach relies on using brief bursts of natural sound to immerse the viewer in the scene and create a more visceral connection with the content.
I often incorporated wide-angle GoPro shots mounted on the front of my camera to capture dynamic action sequences, allowing for more flexibility in the edit and enhancing the overall flow of the story. As an editor I make every effort to alternate angles as a way to maintain pace and hold the viewers' attention.
I designed these retro '80s-style full-screen graphics to give the story a more playful, nostalgic feel, making it feel less like traditional news and more fun and engaging.
This Halloween séance piece gave me the opportunity to use particle emitters, shine effects, and dramatic color grading to creating a spooky, atmospheric visual experience.

Storytelling is deeply meaningful to me. More than just creating compelling images; it's about capturing moments, stirring emotions and crafting narratives.
