Rug Pad Wizard: website design in Figma for a US rug pad maker

Rug Pad Wizard makes waterproof, washable rug pads in the USA and sells them to homeowners and through rug dealers. We designed a new website for them in Figma. The design has not been built yet, and their current site is unchanged.
Client: Rug Pad Wizard · Industry: Home furnishings, flooring · What we did: Website design · Platform: Figma · Started: January 2026 · Status: Design only, not launched

About the client

Rug Pad Wizard is a US maker of rug pads with a felt, non-skid backing. It sells to consumers and runs dealer programs for rug stores and rug cleaners. Its own site says the pads are Made in USA and carry a “Life of the Rug” warranty of 20 years or more.

The challenge

One site had to talk to two very different buyers about a technical product.
Two audiences. Dealers want a product line and a program to sell; homeowners want a pad that protects their floor.
Technical benefits. No latex, a pet barrier, safe on vinyl floors: the specs had to be easy to scan, not a wall of text.
Trust. Reviews, partner logos and a product video needed to appear early.
A dealer path. The dealer program needed its own section and its own button, next to the consumer path.

What we did

Split the two paths in the hero

Designed the hero with two buttons side by side: “Become a Dealer” and “View Products”.
Placed a product video in the hero, showing the pads in real homes, so visitors see the product before they read about it.
Added a proof bar straight under the hero, so trust is set before the first scroll.

Made the product range easy to compare

Designed a product section with three pads, Eco by Design, Eco Preferred and Eco Supreme, each with a close-up photo and its own badge.
Chose a navy and white palette, which reads as reliable for a product that competes on trust.

Gave dealers their own section

Designed “Why Dealers Choose Rug Pad Wizard” as a feature grid: Lowest Cost per Year, Vinyl Floor Damage, Pet Barrier, Made in USA, Life of Rug Warranty and Sustainable recycling.
Added a dealer FAQ for the usual questions: minimum orders, marketing materials, project timelines and warranty.

Designed the warranty page

Designed a Rug Pad Warranty Program page with three tabs: Our Warranties, Tips To Extend The Life Of Your Rug Pad, and Why We Offer Warranties.
Added a side-by-side comparison: a rug on a Rug Pad Wizard “Eco” pad next to a rug on another pad, so the difference is clear in one look.
Ended both pages with customer feedback, just before the final call to action.

Scope

Included:
Website design in Figma.
A home page with hero and video, proof bar, product range, dealer section, dealer FAQ and customer feedback, plus a warranty page.
Not included:
The build. The design has not been developed, and their live site is still their existing one.
The product facts. Details like the warranty and Made in USA are Rug Pad Wizard’s own.

Results

A home page and a warranty page designed in Figma, with separate paths for dealers and homeowners, ready to be built.
The design has not launched, so there are no traffic or sales numbers to report.

What we’d improve next

Build it with a CMS. Building the design in Framer or Webflow with the FAQ and reviews in a CMS would let the team add answers and reviews themselves.
Add a dealer finder. A “find a local dealer” search on the product pages would turn homeowner interest into dealer sales.
Add a cost-per-year calculator. Their current site already compares the cost per year of wear; an interactive version would make the point in seconds.

Working on something similar?

I design websites in Figma and build them in Framer or Webflow, so your team can edit every page without a developer. Message me here on Contra with your site or Figma file, and I’ll reply with a plan and a fixed price.
