We won the Contra #StealMyPrompt challenge—and we're so happy about it. We've been slowing honing our skills in the generative AI space for art direction over the past year. The winner: a simple AI prompt inspired by cinematic perspective, surreal collage, with an editorial style.

Traditional blog visuals tend to do one thing well: fill space. A stock photo, a lifestyle shot, a decorative image to break up text. Fine—but limited. AI allows us to move beyond that.

Instead of searching for an image that kind of fits, we created visuals that are designed to express an idea and supports the story.

This prompt explores cinematic perspective, surreal collage, and editorial-style imagery—bringing together architecture, scale, and subtle abstraction. It blends matte film grain textures, muted neutral tones, and restrained gold accents, with geometric lines and sketch-like details layered into the scene.

The result is a prompt that feels considered and visually rich without being overly complex—designed to produce images that feel atmospheric, intentional, and art-directed rather than overly polished or artificial.
