Project Brief

In the era of modernity, the human interest in art has started to fade. one of the major factors is the lack of media to do and explore the art, where the artists find it hard to expose and introduce their arts to the public, which makes some of them stop doing arts. Indirectly, This problem will certainly impact the country's culture and economy. To answer this problem, Angelart was proposed.
Angelart is an app made for artists and art lovers to explore the world of art. The app gives spaces for artists to express themselves through art and allows art lovers to consume and enjoy the arts with simple access.

The Goal

Create an app that will be media for the artists to do art and allows art lovers to do some art exploration

My Role

As the UI/UX Designer who is also having this idea to propose, I have some responsibilities to do, which are:
Research the way how artists can do and expose their arts
Find pain points as the secondary research
Identify the objectives, challenges, and solution idea
Create a persona to support the ideation phase
Make a low-fidelity wireframe design
Create the design and prototype
Conduct usability test

Understand How The Art Works and Artists' Involvement in It

In this empathize stage, the researchers understand how something could become an art. Art itself could be anything that has art value in it. We also realize that we need media, platforms, or spaces to allow artists to make art, expose it, and gain people's awareness of art. After conducting some research on our current status quo, we found that:
Lack of media or spaces for artists to make and expose their arts
People find it difficult to get access to consume and enjoy arts
Difficulty in getting education and information about art which causes waning interest in art
Reduced interest in people going physically to art exhibitions in this digital age

The Objectives

Create an app that can provide the art and historical education to increase the art awareness
Create an app that can be a platform for artists to expose and introduce their art to the public and also for art lovers to explore the world of art
Create a feature that can enable art transactions so that art lovers can consume the art and the artist gain benefit from it
Create a virtual exhibition supported by VR and AR technologies

The Challenges

Create a platform that can be space for the art to remains
