What started as a simple mobile-optimization gig for BetterBrain's website, turned into long-term collaboration.

Objective: Transform BetterBrain’s outdated and confusing website into a modern, cohesive digital experience, starting with a mobile optimization project that grew into a long-term collaboration.

The Challenge

When I joined the project, BetterBrain's website faced significant challenges:

Mobile Optimization: Adapting these complex layouts for mobile resulted in a suboptimal user experience.

Visual Identity: The brand’s dark color palette conveyed a depressing tone, which didn’t align with the vibrant message they wanted to deliver.

Webflow Structure: Incorrect naming conventions and cumbersome layouts on the desktop version caused inconsistencies and difficulties in scaling.

The Solution

Improved Design: I modernized the visual identity by introducing lighter hues to their color palette while staying true to the original branding. Experimenting with type sizes and weights brought a fresh, contemporary feel to their text-heavy content.

Enhanced UX/UI: To improve information delivery, I restructured layouts for clarity and usability. Animated elements were introduced to help users navigate information effortlessly, creating a more engaging and dynamic browsing experience.

Simplified Webflow Structure: I rebuilt layouts with proper naming conventions, ensuring scalability and ease of maintenance across both desktop and mobile platforms.

The Results

BetterBrain’s internal user research highlighted significant improvements in user satisfaction after the redesign. Although specific metrics aren’t available, the client was so pleased with the results that the partnership evolved into a long-term collaboration. Beyond mobile optimization, I continued enhancing the website as it expanded, solidifying its position as a sleek, user-friendly platform.

Peter is a next level designer and developer. He's already helped us bring our website to the next level and create tons of content that didn't exist before he started working with us. We've since expanded his scope to help us refine the design of our digital product. His work is quick, collaborative, and extremely high quality.
