Since the COVID-19 pandemic hit the world, there have been many changes in human behavior that have had an impact on daily activities. Many businesses need to rethink their strategies in the face of these changes. Of course, this change also has an impact on the F&B business, where at the beginning of the pandemic many cafes and restaurants had to limit their dine-in activities. Furthermore, the potential for virus transmission requires companies to be more creative in interacting with customers. To prepare for the change, Shikinori had to come up with a strategy to adapt to the change.
The goal of the mobile apps is to improve the user experience when interacting in the cafe by reducing their anxiety about health issues with the hope of increasing customer retention.
