User Interface for iOS Health App

Rodolfo Diniz

Brief: I was presented with a design request by a company to create a user interface for a women's health video app. The goal was to model the app after a provided reference app while customizing it to include sections for saved videos and video search functionality.
User Need:The primary user need identified for this project was to provide women with a convenient and accessible platform to access videos addressing concerns related to bloating in various areas of the body. Users sought a solution that would offer a curated collection of informative videos while allowing them to easily save and search for content relevant to their needs.
Solution:To address the user need, I designed a user interface that leveraged the structure and aesthetics of the reference app while incorporating sections tailored to the specific requirements of the women's health video app. Key components of the solution included:
Home Screen Redesign: I reimagined the home screen to feature curated video collections targeting different areas of bloating, providing users with quick access to relevant content upon opening the app.
Saved Video Section: I introduced a dedicated section for saved videos, allowing users to bookmark content for future reference and easily access their personalized collection of saved videos.
Video Search Functionality: I implemented a robust search feature enabling users to find videos based on keywords, categories, or specific topics related to bloating, enhancing the discoverability and accessibility of content.

Achieving the Goal: Through a user-centered design approach and iterative prototyping, I refined the user interface to ensure a seamless and intuitive experience. By closely adhering to the provided color scheme and iconography while customizing the layout and functionality to align with the app's objectives, I successfully achieved the goal of designing a user interface tailored to the needs of the target audience.
Outcome: The final design concept received positive feedback during review sessions, demonstrating its potential to effectively address the user needs identified for the women's health video app. Moving forward, I'kk further develop and refine this design to contribute to the success of the company's innovative healthcare initiatives.
