Project Overview
TheResumes.Online is a fast, modern resume builder designed to help users create clean, professional resumes with real time preview and instant PDF export. The platform lets users choose from multiple templates, edit their resume content live, and generate pixel perfect PDFs without layout breaks.
I built the entire MVP from scratch — including the template engine, real time preview system, user dashboard, data storage, and the PDF export pipeline.
Project Goals
Build a simple, fast resume builder with real time preview
Create a scalable template engine for multiple layouts
Give users instant PDF exports without formatting issues
Provide a clean dashboard for saving, editing, and managing resumes
Ensure templates are visually consistent and responsive
Create a frictionless onboarding and content editing experience
My Role (Full Stack MVP Builder)
I handled all front end + backend logic, template design, rendering engine, and user workflow from editing to exporting.
Key contributions include:
Live preview engine syncing edits in real time
PDF export logic optimized to avoid content cutoff
Template system supporting multiple designs
Dashboard for saved resumes and quick editing
Clean UI for entering personal, professional, and skill details
Fully responsive experience with consistent styling
Conclusion
This project allowed me to build a high speed, user friendly resume builder with clean templates and instant PDF generation. The MVP delivers an intuitive editing flow, professional layouts, and a smooth export process — giving users a reliable tool for job applications without dealing with complex editors or formatting issues.
