When Empress Bliss Spa reached out to us, they had one goal in mind: to drive meaningful conversations with potential customers via Meta Ads, converting them into spa bookings and loyal clients. The spa wanted to attract people looking for relaxation, premium treatments, and a luxurious experience without overloading their budget. This is the story of how we worked together to launch and run a messaging-driven ad campaign that is still running and bringing in solid results.
The spa industry is highly competitive, and Empress Bliss Spa wanted to stand out in a crowded market. The key challenge was to ensure that their ads not only reached the right audience but also triggered action — direct conversations with potential customers who could book services. The goal was not just vanity metrics like likes or clicks but actual conversations that would lead to sales.
Additionally, the budget was modest, so every naira spent had to be optimized for the highest possible returns.

Campaign Objective

We designed a Meta Ads campaign with the objective of Messages — encouraging people to initiate conversations with the spa directly via Facebook Messenger. The idea was simple: speak directly to potential customers, answer their questions, and guide them toward booking services. This strategy ensured a more personal touch, making it easier to turn leads into paying customers.

Performance Breakdown

Here is how each ad set performed:
Ad Set 1 (The Star Performer)
Results: 268 conversations
Amount Spent: ₦17,514.57
Reach: 4,958
Impressions: 10,216
Cost per Result: ₦66.34 This ad set accounted for 67% of all conversations, with a highly effective creative and a well-targeted audience. It had broad reach, high impressions, and the lowest cost per conversation, making it the backbone of the campaign.
Ad Set 2
Results: 83 conversations
Amount Spent: ₦22,753.94
Reach: 4,053
Impressions: 6,662
Cost per Result: ₦192.83 Though this ad set contributed to the campaign, the cost per conversation was almost 3 times higher than the best-performing ad set. This pointed to inefficiencies in either targeting or creative.
Ad Set 3
Results: 33 conversations
Amount Spent: ₦2,141.80
Reach: 820
Impressions: 747
Cost per Result: ₦164.75 With lower reach and impressions, this ad set had limited contribution to the overall results.
Ad Set 4
Results: 13 conversations
Amount Spent: ₦795.76
Reach: 217
Impressions: 225
Cost per Result: ₦795.76 This ad set underperformed significantly. The cost per result was too high, indicating issues with either the audience size or engagement.
Ad Set 5
Results: 3 conversations
Amount Spent: ₦1,051.12
Reach: 274
Impressions: 298
Cost per Result: ₦517.90 Another underperforming ad set that required adjustments or possible discontinuation.
Ad Set 6
Results: 1 conversation
Amount Spent: ₦1,360.24
Reach: 39
Impressions: 39
Cost per Result: ₦453.41 With just one conversation and minimal reach, this ad set showed the lowest efficiency.

What Worked

The Winning Ad Set: The top-performing ad set (268 conversations) had strong copy and visuals that hit home with the audience. It targeted people within Abuja(Federal Capital Territory), who were already inclined to book spa services.
Personalized Messaging Objective: By focusing on direct messaging, we created a personalized communication channel where the spa could build trust with potential clients. This approach converted hesitant prospects into warm leads.
Audience Targeting: The best ad set had highly optimized audience targeting, ensuring we reached the most relevant people.

Results So Far

The campaign has generated 401 messaging conversations at an average cost of ₦113.82.
The top ad set has driven the majority of the results at an impressive cost per result of ₦66.34.
Reach and Impressions: The ads have reached 8,902 people, with a total of 18,205 impressions, creating significant visibility for the brand.
This campaign for Empress Bliss Spa showcases the power of well-targeted, messaging-focused Meta Ads. By creating a direct line of communication with potential clients, the spa has been able to build trust and generate consistent conversations that can lead to bookings.
The campaign is still running, with opportunities to improve efficiency and scale results even further. This is a great example of how data-driven decisions and continuous optimization can turn a modest budget into a highly effective lead generation machine.
