⚡ Overview

The case study given below was for my work as a Social Media Strategist for an education consultancy named Writers Qi (India).
While there, I handled the brand’s Instagram, Facebook, and LinkedIn accounts. Below, you can find a case study on how the LinkedIn account was optimized and maintained (Founder’s account + Company account)

⚡ Goal

The main goal was to optimize both two accounts with relevant keywords and revamp their designs.

Problem

We chose LinkedIn as the platform to network with universities and other companies to widen our network. Since LinkedIn is primarily a professional space, it's the best platform to connect with companies to collaborate with.
The account needed proper keyword optimization, branding, and a strategy in place. So, my role was to establish the client’s presence in the education space and increase the brand’s presence pan India.

Process & Strategy

The account needed to be optimized with proper keywords. For the company account, the account was optimized to portray ourselves as top educational consultants. Next, I planned a content strategy for both accounts.
I devised a strategy to post and make our branding apparent on the platform. I created a content calendar, researched appropriate keywords, and updated the Founder’s LinkedIn profile to increase search appearances over time.
The keyword we focused on was education consultant, educational consultancy & career counselor. These keywords were added to the About section of the profiles, and the featured section was updated with our recommendations, latest work, and upcoming events. The banner for the account was revamped to look more professional.
Apart from this, I planned out a strategy for content and networking with other people on the platform.
The strategy included weekly LinkedIn posts, blog reposts, and in-depth opinionated pieces from the Founder. It established thought leadership and created a personal brand over time.

Results

The account visibility had increased by 100% within two weeks, and on the company account, the visibility improved to 151 profile visitors, of which 46 were unique. The account gained 76 new followers within two weeks, and the content posted reached a wider audience than before.
Once we started posting, even our website visitors increased from this channel, and we gained a consistent amount of at least 5-10 inbound leads per week. These leads were not just parents looking to hire a consultant for their children but also brands that wanted to collaborate with us to market their products.
