Growing up in Rhode Island, I was always captivated by the vibrant seafood culture that surrounded me. From the distinctive red of lobsters to the rough textures of oysters, the sights and flavors of the sea were a constant source of inspiration. In my senior capstone project, I took on the challenge of rebranding the Rhode Island Seafood Festival.
To bring this vision to life, I honed my skills in illustration and design, creating a unique visual style that captured the essence of New England seafood. My primary focus was on creating a cohesive brand identity that could be applied across a variety of physical objects, from menus to banners to t-shirts. I approached this challenge with a spirit of creativity and experimentation, ultimately creating a set of visual guidelines that allowed for maximum versatility and impact.
