The Project
Maga Drone is a drone delivery startup concept I designed during a UI/UX design sprint. The idea was to look into how drones could make last-mile delivery faster and more efficient, especially in areas with traffic or poor road networks.
The Challenge
While drone delivery is innovative, it's still new to many users. The key design challenge was to:
Make the technology feel trustworthy and user-friendly
Design a smooth booking flow for first-time users
Clearly show tracking and delivery updates in real time
My Role
This was a solo sprint where I explored the full UI/UX direction for the platform. I worked on:
Visual direction and branding
Booking and delivery tracking flow
What I Focused On
A clean, modern interface that made drone delivery feel accessible and not intimidating
A booking flow that lets users quickly enter delivery details, pin drop-off locations, and get time estimate
Friendly microcopy and visuals to build trust with users new to the idea of drone logistics
Outcome
This project allowed me to design for emerging tech in a way that’s human-centered and intuitive. It was also a great exercise in simplifying unfamiliar experiences so they feel as natural as ordering a ride or food delivery.
