If you’re found guilty of breaking any law, your business will be halted, indefinitely.
And no, the ignorance of the law excuses no one.
…all bank accounts will be frozen. 
…your workers (if any) will be told to go home without hinting any strand of hope for their job security.
Your brand…your reputation…your name and pretty much EVERYTHING you’ve worked for will be rubbed in the mud with damaging words from the FTC’s press release the next day.
And of course, bloggers will join the boat to boost their readership.
No one but YOU will be painted as a SCAM.
And then, for a long moment, negative and baseless comments about you and your business will spread the internet like wildfire.
By that time, you can’t stop it.
You can’t clear your name.
While still fighting for your emotional balance, the FTC, with the full backing of the Attorney-General, will stretch their hands towards you asking for outrageous fines running to hundreds and even millions of dollars.
It gets even worse when you get served a legal bill by your lawyer who’s been fighting your case on your behalf. 
Then and there, you’d be left with two options…
Pay up your fine or declare bankruptcy.
Either way, you lose!

Hi…My name is Anik Singal.
I own one of the most successful digital publishing companies in the United States - Lurn Inc.
Lurn has existed for 21 years, with over $20 million in annual sales.

Mind you, before we got sued by the FTC, here was our stat:
We had processed 60,000+ transactions in a 3-year window.
…5% refund rate.
…0.8% chargebacks.
…36-minute average response time to our customers.
…only one company structure, nothing offshore.
…we had a BBB rating of A.
Yet, we were sued for deceptive marketing and slammed with a fine worth over $2.5 million!
How? How did it come to be?
Look, as a business, it’s impossible to leave every customer satisfied and even if you do, your business can still end up on FTC’s target list.
Let’s take a look at a good example - Google LLC.
Practically every American uses Google in their everyday lives.
Google, most likely, powers the emails you send.
Every search online comes mostly from Google.
Yet, they were accused and sued for deceptive marketing promoting Google Pixel 4 smartphones.
They settled $9.4 million in penalties.
Bear in mind, no one was defrauded using the Pixel 4 smartphone.
The product was, in fact, a success.
Yet, the FTC didn’t care. 
What mattered most to them was that Google paid influencers who hadn’t used the product to promote it.
Right now, it has become even tighter and tougher.
Smaller companies are fighting for their existence as the FTC is using the marketing and advertising laws to bury them.  
A good example is…
CD Capital - A small financial advisory firm with only 243 eligible customers.
The FTC claimed they deceived their customers with misleading financial details.
They got a fine of $132,072.
Another is…A1 Docprep - A student loan debt relief firm with only 136 customers.
They settled $232,755.
And yet another interesting example…
Campbell Capital Management- a medium-sized financial advisory firm in Florida, United States with only 603 customers.
After 30 years of managing their clients’ finances efficiently, the FTC still thought otherwise of Campbell Capital.
The FTC released a statement accusing Campbell Capital of defrauding its clients and collecting debt payments more than originally owed.
Was the FTC right?
It didn’t matter.
The case dragged in court for long until Campbell Capital came to a settlement of $19,826.64.
As you can see, it doesn’t matter whether you are Amazon with over a trillion dollars in valuation or a regular chiropractor business along the street in Baltimore. 
The FTC could care less. 
Once a complaint is filed against your business in the FTC Consumer Sentinel Network, beyond every reasonable doubt…
The FTC will come at you with everything they’ve got.
And here’s a fraction of what they’ve got:
…the President of the United States and the entire White House.
…the State Attorney-General.
…over $300 million operational budget.
…multiple fully funded legal teams.
…the police and many, many more.
If Google couldn’t beat them, could you?
The choice is entirely yours.

My troubles with the FTC
For 18 SOLID MONTHS…I was in the FTC’s net.
It was HELL!
My bank accounts were frozen.
The court ordered an immediate injunction on my business.
No operations. No selling. No revenue.
I never thought I’d be seeing more federal agents than I see my employees.
I visited the courtroom more times than I went to my office.
On top of that, there was always a legal bill to be paid. EVERY. DAMN. TIME.
I’m talking thousands of dollars.
But that wasn’t the worst yet…
Whenever I go online, all I saw were…
 Anik is a fraud…Lurn is a Ponzi scheme… 
Scattered all over Facebook, Instagram, Reddit, and even Quora.
Imagine you casually scrolling through Instagram reels and suddenly, stumble upon a video of a middle-aged guy speaking confidently about a newly uncovered fraud with your picture at the top right corner.
That’s a tiny fraction of the kind of humiliation I got.
But that didn’t matter anyway. I was just another scapegoat for the FTC.
Anyone can be a scapegoat to the FTC. You don’t have to be fraudulent to be on their radar.
All it takes is ONE complaint from literally anyone.
Lord help us, it could be from your competitor.
That’s it!
The FTC’s eyes will be fixed on you and most importantly…
YOUR BUSINESS.

The FTC is not known for losing or backing down on any case they choose to pursue.
They, in fact, have ample resources to clamp down on every business in every corner of the United States if they ever choose to.

Refunds and Guarantees.
Guaranty of success whatsoever.
Contest and Sweepstakes.
Pressing Urgency.
Hype and Lifestyle ad.
Improper Use of Scarcity.
And shockingly more!
The regular marketing strategies we use every day have suddenly turned into link ways for huge fines.
Little wonder, the FTC has seized more than $1.5 billion from businesses (small and big) since 2020.  
Since 2016, Over 16 million complaints have been filed to the FTC Consumer Sentinel Network.
Right now as we speak, anyone’s business can be next.
There are no second chances. 
There are no warning signals either.
Once the envelope is served, be sure to welcome federal agents the following day.
