Redesigning Pelican AI’s Corporate Website

Overview Pelican AI is a global leader in AI-powered payments and compliance solutions for banks and financial institutions. With customers across 55+ countries, their platform automates transaction processing, sanctions screening, and fraud detection at scale. The company needed a modern, forward-looking redesign of its website to better reflect its AI capabilities and enterprise credibility.

My Role I led the redesign process with a focus on aligning Pelican's visual identity with its AI positioning, improving usability, and refreshing the digital brand to resonate with modern fintech expectations.

What I Did • Conducted project discovery sessions to align stakeholders on goals and brand direction • Audited and reviewed the previous Pelican website to identify UX issues and visual inconsistencies • Refined the visual language to reflect a more AI-forward, futuristic look and feel while preserving brand trust • Performed competitive analysis to benchmark top fintech and AI companies, gathering insights on layout, content strategy, and interaction patterns • Updated and expanded the design system to support a more scalable and consistent web experience • Created a refreshed web branding kit including colors, typography, and component styling • Designed high-fidelity, responsive page layouts across key screens including homepage, product pages, and solution overviews • Prepared handoff documentation and collaborated with developers for implementation

Outcome The result was a sleek, intelligent website that elevated Pelican’s digital presence, clearly articulated its value proposition, and supported engagement with enterprise clients. The new design strengthened the brand’s credibility and set the foundation for future product marketing efforts.
