Designed an Enterprise Logistics OS: Scaling Global Freight Data

Muftar was born from a critical industry frustration: brilliant logistics operators being held back by legacy systems. As the lead designer on this project, I was tasked with translating the vision of industry veterans into a digital infrastructure that works the way logistics professionals think intuitive, powerful, and built to eliminate chaos.

The Goal: To move Muftar from a seed-funded vision to a market-ready, transaction-driven platform.

The logistics industry is notoriously fragmented. We witnessed a pattern of manual processes consuming entire workdays and technology that added more complexity than it solved. The design challenge was three-fold:

Complexity Mapping: Organizing dense, real-time logistics data (tracking, documents, transactions) into a glanceable, low-cognitive-load interface.

Scalability: Building a modular system that could handle millions of transactions daily for carriers and shippers alike.

Trust & Transparency: Designing for a revolutionary transaction-based pricing model that required clear, honest communication of value within the UI.

I didn't just design screens; I engineered a Customer-First Development Framework. By working closely with a leadership team of Fortune 500 logistics veterans, I built a system rooted in "Relentless Innovation."

The Logistics Command Center: A centralized dashboard designed to provide 360-degree visibility. I prioritized "Actionable Insights," allowing operators to spot bottlenecks and manage exceptions in real-time.

Transaction-Centric UX: To support Muftar's unique pricing model, I architected a transparent workflow that visualizes value delivered at every touchpoint, ensuring trust through design.

High-Fidelity Component Library: I developed a comprehensive design system in Figma that ensured 100% fidelity during the scale-up from seed funding ($300K) to the Q2 2025 launch.

Collaborative Orchestration: Acting as the bridge between the CEO's operational deep-domain expertise and the CTO’s engineering requirements, I ensured the platform was as technically robust as it was visually elite.

The result is a platform that empowers growth by removing the technical hurdles that once held operators back.
