Kosovo Motorway Project - Route 6

• Security risk assessment of project operations and ensure cost effective protection of company assets.

• Identify, develop, implement and maintain security strategies and programs. Develops physical security, emergency procedures, and personal protection plans, programs and criteria to respond to security conditions and incidents, and minimize risk of person al, physical or financial harm to project jobsites, permanent offices, or designated senior executives, their residences and families.

• Develops and maintains close professional relationships with peers in appropriate law enforcement, security, foreign operations agencies, corporate security groups and third party information providers, to develop timely, relevant threat information and to provide advice on travel safety, project and work site feasibility, incident management, and evacuation for Project personnel or interests.

• Manages and coordinates the development and implementation of policies, procedures and systems to maintain, measure, and enhance the overall security function within the assigned office or business unit.

• Recruits security personnel as required and manage the project security department and ensure that security staff is competent to carry out their duties to protect company assets.

• Formulates specifications for contract security services, assists in evaluating contractor proposals, supervises, evaluate performance of contract requirements, manage the security guarding contract and ensure supervision of their operations.

• Liaise with Kosovo Security Force (KSF) and NATO Forces (KFOR) for mine awareness and clearance of dangerous areas.

• Conducts security awareness, crime prevention, education, and orientation programs for project site/office staff as directed.

• Conducts investigations of criminal acts and potential threats against project interests.

• Develops budget requirements for security activities and manages the implementation of approved budgets as required.
