The brochure highlights property developments under the ARTE brand. The buildings' shapes and lines on the cover and page break are highlighted with reflective textures using spot uv and holographic print. Iconic ornamental frames are uniquely designed for each project's brand personality.
ARTE Cheras brochure and exhibition display stands were inspired by the building's perforated metal icon façade.
Every Chinese New Year, it is the company's tradition to give their clients greeting cards as a corporate gift. The card comes along with a bright red envelope (known as hóngbāo). These envelopes are filled with money and the red color symbolizes good luck and prosperity for the new year ahead.
The greeting card design was inspired by the Chinese fan, an accessory that served as canvases for scholars to inscribe poems and paintings in ancient Chinese culture. The bold red flowers and tree branch shapes were simplified, vectorized, and embossed to give it a modern take. The elegant champagne gold color was achieved by printing the color onto the art card instead of using the samples provided by the supplier which were mostly of standard gold hues.
The second design option was a more traditional overview of the Chinese elements. The Chinese Garden window lattice acts as the main focal point which was further highlighted with spot UV. On the cover, it is surrounded by Chinese peony flowers while on the inside it holds two envelopes and is reflected on the other side with a wish.
