The Challenge:
"Be Frienders, an Egypt-based NGO running an HIV outreach program in Giza, was tracking hundreds of monthly beneficiary records manually in Excel. Staff had no fast way to see KPI progress, spot gaps in service delivery, or generate the structured reports needed for donor reporting — every report meant hours of manual pivot tables and copy-pasting."
The Approach:
"I built DataBridge Pro, a bilingual Arabic/English M&E hub deployed on Streamlit Cloud. The platform ingests the raw beneficiary dataset and gives staff a single interface to track KPIs against Global Fund targets, run automated gap analysis with logical-reason tagging (e.g., flagging refused tests vs. genuine data errors), and visualize demographic and geographic distribution of services delivered."
"Every screen was built bilingually from the ground up, since program staff work primarily in Arabic, and I structured the KPI tracker around the NGO's actual reporting cycle (Annual + Q1–Q4) rather than a generic dashboard template."
The Outcome:
The platform replaced manual Excel tracking entirely. Staff can now see 905+ beneficiary records, follow-up visit rates, and test/referral outcomes in real time, with donor-ready reports generated in minutes instead of hours."
