René Powell is a wedding and portrait photographer based in Portland, Oregon. For over a decade, her keen eye for capturing meaningful moments and warm, infectious personality have brought lasting memories and joy to many couples, families and individuals. I helped to bring René’s vision for her business to life through a website that showcases the consistent high quality results and lasting impact she delivers with each client session. Since its launch, the site has helped propel René’s career forward, with 100+ bookings across nearly a dozen U.S. states and featured work in North Carolina Weddings Magazine as well as many venue/vendor social media accounts.

The design of René’s website reflects the light and airy style of her photography, with plenty of open space, sophisticated, a minimal color palette, all which allow her photography to be the hero of each page. The website is fully responsive, ensuring a seamless experience across all devices, from desktops to smartphones. Special attention was given to maintaining image quality and loading speed, providing a smooth browsing experience.

A dedicated section for client testimonials was integrated to build trust and showcase positive feedback from previous clients. This section is designed with elegant typography and subtle animations to enhance engagement.

Custom gallery layouts were designed to showcase both portrait and wedding photography. These galleries are easy to navigate, with options for filtering by category, such as Couples, Engagements, and Weddings.

An easy-to-use booking form was developed, allowing potential clients to inquire about services directly from the website. The form is strategically placed and includes custom fields tailored to the photographer's needs, ensuring streamlined communication.

As a recent extension to the website, we created a second-shooting page to highlight specific info and past collaborations as a reference for primary photographers. Within just a month post-launch, René was hired for multiple second-shooting jobs.
