I led the design of Seekoool’s internal admin dashboard, a centralized system for managing media assets, product reviews, orders, and more, tailored specifically for the operational and marketing workflows of an optical ecommerce business.
Problem
The marketing and operations team needed a way to:
Easily manage banner creatives across multiple device views and product categories
Moderate customer reviews efficiently at scale
Organize content placements that reflect how shoppers actually browse: by product type and audience segment (Men, Women, Kids, Sale)
Maintain visual consistency across devices without depending heavily on engineering
My Approach
Modular Media Uploads: I created a flexible media system that lets teams upload banners for desktop and mobile separately, with visual previews and clear constraints (max 5 per section).
Review Moderation UI: Designed a tabbed review dashboard with colored status indicators, urgency banners, and fresh submission badges. This simplified moderation for non-technical users.
User-Centric Mapping: Placement areas like Homepage, Sport, Kids, etc., are mapped directly to frontend paths, helping teams plan promotions more intentionally.
Scalable Design Language: I used reusable components and clean layouts to keep the UI consistent and scalable as the business grows.
Preview-First Interactions: Every upload and review element includes a preview to minimize publishing errors and reduce back-and-forth with dev.
Outcome
The redesigned dashboard reduced upload errors, gave the marketing team independence from engineering for banner campaigns, and sped up review moderation cycles. The interface has been well received internally for being intuitive and purpose-built for the eyewear retail model.
