We built a creator learning hub for YouTube, producing events that included email invites, video, animation, digital, and even print materials. We also translated many of these assets for ‘business as usual’ virtual and in-person events in various countries worldwide, where creators could meet and share ideas. To ensure a consistent visual and written narrative that local creators would recognise, trust, and relate to, we produced a new branding framework for YouTube hubs globally. As creative lead on this project, I worked closely with writers, the YouTube brand team in New York City, Makerhouse in Detroit, and YouTube’s design agency Nari to develop a toolkit that would be rolled out globally, allowing each YouTube office around the world to run their own local events.
